NIVA offers an original range of design products, a combination of unexpected shapes and everyday objects.

NIVA’s design project was born in 2018 in the small workshop of a house in the heart of Florence, where a new quest began: to search new and personal ways of understanding and reinterpreting interior design.Our product range offers a wide selection of shapes and finishes: an original collection of sculptural design door handles and knobs, which take the user into an authentic adventure through an alternate universe. The design piece as a reinterpretation of the world that surrounds us, timeless emotions inspired by mysterious imaginary worlds.

The door handle becomes a special tool, a sort of “key” to access these worlds. The door handle is the object that allows us to open and close a door, however, it is also an opportunity to enjoy a new tactile experience, a simple action that unites us with the object itself.

Design handles and knobs

NIVA design products enhance the sculptural aspect of the object and are made entirely in Italy.

Our realisation methods combine the most modern technologies with the most classic and ancient analogical procedures such as those of lost wax casting. They  also creating a dialogue between contemporary and secular traditions.

NIVA presents a wide range of design handles that match the most diverse interior styles. The sculptural component of these products combines with the particular research on shapes that draw inspiration from an imaginary universe and mix with suggestions from the natural world.

Aside from door handles, knobs, wallpapers and mirrors, every year, NIVA design introduces new product categories inspired by the combination of sculpture, shapes from imaginary worlds and nature.
