The “Archeological” collection of knobs and fixed handles was born from the idea of the discovery of an artefact, buried and survived the passage of time, maintaining in itself a specific identity and messages unaltered by time but reinterpretable in the present.
The uniqueness of the archaeological handles is expressed in the preciousness of the finish, which reproduces in detail minute textures representing the chevron symbol, triangular, curtain-like signs that represent the primary aspect of the Goddess as dispenser of life.
The fixed designer handles can be easily mounted on cabinets, drawers, furniture and wall units in the bathroom and kitchen.
This handle is made by lost-wax casting in natural brass. For the Archeological collection we have created a range of matching textures so that you have a set of handles and knobs with different shapes and textures that you can mix and match to embellish your furniture.
Each model in NIVA design’s fixed handles collection is entirely handcrafted in Italy.
